Darren a friend of mine has asked The Albany and myself to help organise a round Robin/ knockout charity dart competition in aid of Bristol Children’s Hospital for the Penguin Ward. Darrens son Declan was admitted into hospital on Christmas Eve 2023 as he wasn’t well then was transferred to Bristol on Christmas Day after his infection markers was extremely high, once at Bristol they ran a range of blood test and scans and realised he had appendicitis that needed immediate surgery, he was operated on late on Boxing day and had to stay in because his bowels and intestines was not functioning right.Darren and his wife Christina thought the staff were absolutely amazing keeping Declans spirits high as obviously he was scared and he was also missing out on Christmas with the rest of the family,so they would like to try and help the ward.
Players are asked to donate raffle prizes if possible and there will be a football card on the day. Half the entrance fees will be given to the charity as well as monies raised on the day.Food will be available all day.
