Littlehampton Premier Darts Series rules

By entering you agree to rules as stated below:

Registration
1. Entries are to be made through dart atlas, with registration going live a week before the start of an event. If a player does not have a dart atlas account please contact Mariusz or James who can enter a player manually. This is on a first come first serve basis, capped at 36 players each week. £6 entry is to be paid on the day.
2. If, after entering, you are unable to make an event you must advise the organisers. Failure to do so will mean that you are banned from entering next week. Harsher penalties will be instilled on repeat offenders.

Format
3. 36 players will be divided into 6 groups of 6, with top 2 from each group and a further 4 x best placed 3rd going through to a last 16. All group games and knockout games are to be played on the night.
4. If less than 36 players have entered for a week, we reserve the right to change the number of groups and number of people going through into what works best for the amount of players that have entered.
5. Groups and fixtures will be automatically generated by dart atlas at 4pm on the day.
6. Group games will be 501 best of 3 and knockout games will be best of 5. This may be changed if there are less than 36 players entered on a week.
7. Player listed on the left side on dart atlas is to throw for bull first, with winner having the throw. The winner of the match will receive 2 points and the loser 0.
8. Group games will be 501 best of 3 and knockout games will be best of 5. This may be changed if there are less than 36 players entered on a week.
9. Group standings will be decided as follows:
1. Points
2. Leg difference
3. Head to head (if 2 players are tied on points and leg difference)
4. Legs won against the throw
5. 3-dart Average

Qualification for Finals
10. A player is required to play in at least ‘7 events out of 12’ to qualify for Finals night
11. Points are awarded for the final standing depending on how far the player has progressed on the night:
Group stage - 1 point
Last 16 - 2 points
Quarter Final - 3 points
Semi Final - 4 points
Finalist - 5 points
Winner - 6 points
12. Points from each week will be added into a total, with the final standings after 12 weeks deciding qualifiers for Finals night. Top 16 players will be entered in the main comp, and placed 17-32 will be entered into a consolation comp. In the event of a player not having played in at least 7 events their place will be awarded to the next placed person.
13. All prize money is subject to the amount of entries throughout the series.
